Since 1969, the PTA has sponsored Reflections, a national arts recognition and achievement program for students. All students may enter works inspired by this year’s theme “Within Reach” in 6 different art categories: dance choreography, film production, literature, music composition, photography, and visual arts. Submissions are judged based on how well the artist uses his/her vision to portray the theme, creativity, originality, and technique. Grade divisions are Primary: preschool – 2nd ; Intermediate: 3rd – 5th, and Special Artists.
HMES is the first STEAM school in the state of Georgia – which is a source of great pride for our students and their families, our educators and our community. It would be AWESOME if we could have excellent participation in this program so we can show the rest of Georgia and the nation how talented and motivated our incredible HMES students are!
Copies of the rules, as well as entry forms will be available in the Library/Media Center. Please feel free to contact the HMES Reflections chair Abby Mowinski (email@example.com) - please include HMES Reflections in the subject line.
Let's do this, HMES!! Encourage your kids to express their unique creativity!
